Information Solutions Cooperative is a single-source provider of
integrated billing, accounting and engineering software for utility
and telecommunications industries.
Working remotely to reduce travel
expenses, we created a custom Change Request form and workflow that
integrated with their internal help system. This help
system, which uses the StarTeam SDK to automatically create new
Change Requests as required, needed to have several custom fields
added to the StarTeam server. These fields included product
and process identifiers, project estimation fields, tester feedback
fields and deadline date fields. Due to StarTeam's ability to
support remote administration we were able to add the custom fields,
configure the custom form and workflow without an expensive on-site visit.
